Hi! It’s Monica here with a fun project that I think you will love!
I am a huge Instagram fan! I love the little snippets of life that can be captured with Instagram.
This week I made a mini-album with my instagram prints that I absolutely love! This was an easy and fun project to do, so I wanted to share it with you.
First, I highly recommend Persnickity Prints for printing Instagram photos. They can be ordered in a variety of sizes to fit whatever project you may have in mind.
I chose to go with the teeny tiny 2×2 size to fit in the pocket protectors for my 4×4 We R Memory Keepers Album. This album is adorable…I love just looking at it!
One thing I love about Persnickity Prints is that you can stream your Instagram feed directly into your Persnickity account and ordering is so easy from there! I ordered approximately 200 instagram prints (a little less than a year’s worth of Instagram photos).
Another thing I love is their fast service and shipping! I ordered these last weekend and had them by Wednesday of this past week.
The 2×2 size does come with a 1/2 inch white border around the image. For placing these into the pocket protector spots, I just trimmed off the border with my Fiskars paper trimmer.
Once your instagram prints arrive in the mail and you have your cute little 4×4 Instagram Album and page protectors from We R Memory Keepers, this project is ready to go!
I just trimmed the border from around the photos and slid them into the page protectors.
One thing you do have to look out for when trimming the border is if you have a filter on your photo that has a frame around it, you’ll need to include that frame in your trim.
I love how the instagrams with text on them turned out!
This Instagram mini-album really gives you a look at the details of our everyday lives and I absolutely love that! It’s micro-scrapbooking at it’s very best.
And the size of this is perfect for throwing into you purse and sharing your photos with friends. We’re traveling this summer to visit family across the country and I’ll be bringing this album along with me.
After placing all of my instagram prints into the album, I wanted to decorate the front a bit, so I pulled some gold vinyl out of my stash and used my Silhouette Cameo to cut an adorable camera.
I am so thrilled with this project and I hope you’re inspired to make a mini-album of Instagram prints of your own!
Instagrams are great for sharing online, but nothing beats having your pictures in your hands!
